Come Fairies Take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame. - William Butler Yeats
"One woman told me last Christmas that she did not believe in Hell or ghosts. Hell was an invention got up by the priests to keep people good; and ghosts would not be permitted to go 'trapsin' about the earth' at their own free will; 'but there are fairies and little leprechauns, and water-horses, and fallen angels.' No matter what one doubts, one never doubts the fairies...." -- William Butler Yeats

Isn't Yeats wonderful in his own way?? I think he's the one who wrote the poem that was an ode to a skull made into a cup. The idea being if he can't have brains in his skull, what better substitute but wine. He has written *lots* of fairie literature.
