* - Minor Trinket: You can create small objects (smaller than your fist) which perform very minor effects as long as the object stays within the bounds of the user. A minor effect is one that lasts less than 10 seconds.
** - Create Ornament: At this level, you can now create talismans that grant longer-lasting effects (15 minutes) and they may grant the bonuses of a 1 or 2 trait merit for a scene.
*** - Potent Amulet: You can now make talismans that confer minor supernatural powers such as one use of any Basic psychic birthright or an oil to rub onto a weapon so that it inflicts extra damage on its next strike. The item performs a clearly unusual function, can be of any size, and onlookers may be mystified at the object’s powers.
**** - Larger Periapts: These talismans defy the bounds of the mundane world, such a talisman duplicated many minor magical effects or perform mundane tasks quickly and simply. Enchanted glasses might allow the wearer to see the invisible, while magical gloves could bestow superior gripping or climbing strength for a scene.
***** - Legendary Item: These magical items of legend (flying carpets, magic swords, protective amulets) and other impossible items allow the user to defy reality for a scene. At this stage you can create items that bestow powers similar to Intermediate vampiric disciplines. They can be single use or limited duration.
