* - Voice of the Sluagh: This level allows you to speak with a voice like thunder. The clarity and power of your words command instant attention. By calling forth a primal stream of words, your message is so charged with power it will strike other creatures like a physical blow. Express one statement at a target and do one level of health damage.
** - The Sneer: The sneering power of your voice is enough to cause mortals to resign themselves to failure. Direct a criticism at your target, and if mortal, they will stop their current action, and refuse to take another for the remainder of the scene. If your target is fae they will gain the negative traits lethargic and depressed.
*** - Aura of Legend: This birthright awakens memories buried deep in the minds of all fae, tapping into the chaotic and often maddening nature of the Mists themselves. With a small speech, you can fill your target with urges of hate and violence, pushing them toward an Unleashing. Mortals affected in this way succumb to a murderous frenzy, attacking the nearest living beings within reach.
**** - The Mark of the Sluagh: During the early fae wars, it is said that the Sluagh developed ways to signify their friends and enemies, subtly altering auras to make subjects easier to find or as marks of shame so anyone who encountered their targets would know their crimes and treat them accordingly.
At this level, you may touch a target and “mark them” with what is essentially a curse that promises violence and misfortune for the bearer. When you mark your subject, you must speak the curse out loud (“Let all who meet you see you for a thief”). The mark lasts until the following sunset.
***** - Revelation: Mortals and fae alike often use artifice to conceal their true natures. This birthright will allow you to strip away another creature’s layers of deception and reveal them for who they really are. It is a moment of truth many do not have the heart to endure. By entering a conversation with your target, you can determine her nature, negative traits, derangements or other weaknesses. You are able to point these out to your target, but whether or not they accept this information once the conversation is over is up to their own nature.
